The Butler Police Department’s Mission Statement is to provide a professional level of service to the community while practicing a Community Oriented Policing Philosophy. 

We are committed to creating and maintaining active community partnerships while assisting citizens in identifying and solving problems in the community.

 We will work with the community to improve the quality of lives in our neighborhoods and strategically utilize the assets we have available to us to help reduce crime and make our neighborhoods safer and more enjoyable for all.

 We are dedicated to protecting life and property and maintaining order while assuring fair and equal treatment for all.
